The architecture and techno-economic assessment of a grid-tied hybrid microgrid for Urir Char, in southern Bangladesh, is analysed. A predictive load-shifting-based demand management scheme is also introduced. A system comprising a PV array, wind turbine and energy storage system is found to be the best fit.
