Submissions
microLife welcomes direct submissions while offering EAM fellows the option to submit one manuscript per year through the ‘Academy Submission’ route, with authors organizing peer review of their article with external reviewers of their choice. We are adopting a progressive approach to journal policy. In addition to the ‘Academy Submission’ route, the journal allows format-free submission and posting on Preprint servers, introduces scooping protection for authors (whereas manuscript considered for publication will not be rejected if the results are published elsewhere by someone else after submission to microLife), and the option to recognize the work done by co-reviewers during peer review.
