Email alerts
Stay in front of the field
We offer a variety of email alerts across our content to help you stay up to date with the latest research. You’ll need to have or create a free Oxford Academic account. Librarians and other institutional customers should use their personal account to sign up for alerts.
NEW: book alerts
Our personalized book alerts update you on new titles published in any collection or subject area at your preferred frequency. Sign up for book alerts.
How to sign up for alerts
You can sign-up to alerts to find out when new content is published, or when content is updated. Tailor your alerts to suit your needs, for example by filtering to subjects, collections, or journals, or by choosing how often you want to receive them.
From any content page you will see quick sign-up links in boxes at the top of the right-hand column. Click the relevant link and confirm your choice.
While logged into your account, you can add new alerts or manage existing ones by clicking the account icon in the top-right of your screen and choosing “Email Alerts”.
RSS feeds
We deliver RSS feeds (Latest Issue Only, Advance Articles, Open Access, Editor’s Choice) to a variety of RSS feed readers. Check the issue/table of contents page to find out if that journal is participating and which feeds are available for that title.
Marketing emails
Through your Oxford Academic account you can sign up to receive emails which include the latest information about new products, exclusive offers, competitions, and news. Go to “Communication preferences” and select your preferred subjects, so that we can send you the most relevant information.
