When we searched for genes overlapping with candidate regions of parallel selection on admixture-derived genetic variation, some genes in the NCBI gene list were not correctly read into R. Therefore, we unfortunately missed some genes in our paper. The full list of genes includes 202 genes overlapping with 35 of the 41 candidate regions of parallel selection. The paper, Supplementary table 3 and the visualization on Dryad: doi:10.5061/dryad.8p6m07g.2) have now been updated. Importantly, one of the previously missed genes is Kit ligand, a gene involved in pigmentation variation in sticklebacks and humans (Miller, et al. 2007).
