On the cover: Overexpression of RIG-I fails to suppress HBV replication in Huh7 cells. Huh7 cells were cotransfected with RIG-I expression plasmid and the HBV replicative plasmid. The confocal microscopic image shows that cells with RIG-I expression (red) are also positive for HBV core Ag (green), indicating that RIG-I signaling fails to suppress HBV replication. Lu, H.-L., and F. Liao. 2013. Melanoma differentiation–associated gene 5 senses hepatitis B virus and activates innate immune signaling to suppress virus replication. J. Immunol. 191: 3264–3276.
