On the cover: Resolution of inflammation by a naturally occurring endogenous lipid mediator, Resolvin E 1, results in complete regeneration of pathologically lost tissues, including bone. Regeneration of tissues lost to disease is problematic in many human diseases, such as arthritis and periodontitis.
