Abstract
A complement fixation procedure is described, employing 51Cr-tagged sheep erythrocytes. With the HCG-anti-HCG system as a model, a considerable increase in sensitivity is demonstrated in comparison with established complement fixation procedures, approaching the range that may be obtained by means of radioimmunoassay.
