Abstract
The case is presented of a newborn infant with ambiguous genitalia, hypospadias and undescended testes. A skin biopsy showed a low incidence of nuclear sex-chromatin bodies, so the male sex was assigned and a program for repair of the hypospadias was initiated. At age 5, bilateral orchidopexy was performed. At this time the gonads were found to be ovotestes. The presence of oocytes in the seminiferous tubules makes the histologic findings of special interest.
