The Twelfth Training Course on Hormonal Assay Techniques sponsored by The Endocrine Society will be held at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Boston, Massachusetts, March 21-25, 1983.

The course will be organized and directed by Gordon H. Williams, M.D., Endocrine-Hypertension Unit, Brigham and Womens' Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts. The faculty will be comprised of leading scientists from Harvard Medical School, Boston University Medical School and Tufts University Medical School.

The course will consist of morning lectures on fundamentals and theoretical background, and afternoon workshops and laboratory demonstrations emphasizing hands-on experience. In addition to classical radioligand procedures, recent advances in the measurement of hormones by other techniques will also be explored, e.g., high performance liquid chromatography, hybridoma techniques to raise antibodies, gas liquid chromatography, and usefulness of fully automated radioimmunoassay systems.

The tuition fee will be $325.00 prepaid, except for 50 scientists in training who will be admitted at $275.00. Each of the 50 applications must be accompanied by a letter from a supervisor attesting to the training status.
