Abstract
This contribution analyzes editorial cartoons with a view to decoding paradigms of corruption in Cameroon, a major obstacle to the country’s economic progress. In the light of the “pictorial turn,” it examines how satiric images are material that make it possible to understand the complexity of corruption. Her contribution combines the comparison of various sources to shows how the editorial cartoon offers a painting of corruption. It also discusses the relationship between “the tyranny of corruption” and the persistence of Cameroon’s under-development.
