Abstract

The equilibrium constant, K, and the rate constants for the reaction,

Credta(H2O)+OAc (Remark: Graphics omitted.) Cr(OAc)edta2−+H2O

were determined spectrophotometrically to be 0.61 M−1 for K, 8.7 M−1 s−1 for kf and 14 s−1 for kb at ionic strength 1.0 (NaClO4) and 25 °C.
