Brain Communications Reviewer Academy

Do you want to gain experience reviewing papers for a journal?  Then please join our Brain Communications Reviewer Academy. In our Reviewer Academy, we provide an online training session (available here). Then, we will invite participants to review papers in their areas of expertise. Feedback will be provided by the editorial team about the quality of reviews received. After on-time completion of 5 reviews, participants will receive a certificate of completion from the Reviewer Academy. Outstanding members of the Reviewer Academy will be invited to meet some of the Brain Communications team members to learn how a peer-reviewed journal works.

Aims:

• Provide training in peer review

• Enhance understanding of what makes a solid scientific paper

• Enhance transparency in Brain Communications’ editorial processes

Eligibility:

Neuroscientists (from PhD stage onwards) wanting to improve their peer review and paper writing skills are eligible for this academy.
