About the journal
Each regional journal of applied forestry focused on research, practice, and techniques targeted to foresters and allied professionals in specific regions of the United States and Canada. Western Journal of Applied Forestry covered the western United States, including Alaska, and western Canada. WJAF also considered manuscripts reporting research in northern Mexico that has potential application in the southwestern United States. Western Journal of Applied Forestry was published from 1977 to 2013 and has now merged with Forest Science.
