In celebration of the upcoming 153rd American Fisheries Society Annual Meeting, we are delighted to present a selection of freely available research articles from the fields of Fisheries and Aquaculture. Selected by the Editorial teams of our society partners and proprietary journals, these papers complement this year’s theme: “Adaptive Approaches to Understand and Manage Changes in Fisheries”. World Rivers Day is a global celebration to highlight the value of our rivers, spread awareness of the threats rivers face, and promote conservation of these crucial resources. Around the world, there are threats to rivers and the living things that depend on them. The American Fisheries Society is excited to join communities around the world in celebrating this important day.
