The first issue of the journal is online now. The first articles in Q Open include a mix of papers focussing on the interface of agriculture, climate and development and the role of foresight analysis in helping to shape and inform the goals and objectives of international research organisations.
About the name
About the name
The title of the Journal comes from the Journal of Economic Literature subject taxonomy (JEL Codes), where letters of the alphabet stand for different fields of economics. In the JEL Codes, Q stands for ‘Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics; Environmental and Ecological Economics.
