This is a high-tech gene library. The natural vine spiral staircase and the sci-tech spiral staircase are interwoven into the double helix structure of DNA. The upper part of the library is a petri dish for microbes, while the lower part is a shelf for gene books. With the cutting-edge technologies of Next-Generation Sequencing and metagenomics, understanding and reading the life code of commensal microbes is as convenient as going directly from the petri dish to the bookshelf!
