Sir,
I have read with interest the article published by Varma et al. [1] in a recent issue of the journal. Estimating prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in India has been of importance recently and different workers had done this in different clinical settings. The study of Varma et al. is unique in the sense that they have tried to define early stages of CKD in so-called healthy population. However, I have made some observations about this study.
