The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Volume 216, Issue suppl_4, 15 September 2017, Pages S539–S547, https://doi.org/10.1093/infdis/jix093
The influenza A(H3N2) variant (H3N2v) viruses emerged in 2013 acquired a single substitution in hemagglutinin (N145K). Our study demonstrated that priming through prior exposures to seasonal H3N2 antigenic clusters were associated with the age-related seroprevalence to 2012 (145N) and 2013 (145K) H3N2v viruses.
Clusters of Human Infections With Avian Influenza A(H7N9) Virus in China, March 2013 to June 2015

Our analysis of 21 clusters of human infections with H7N9 influenza virus suggests that limited person-to-person transmission is likely to have occurred on multiple occasions since spring 2013.
