Oliver Richmond is a Research Professor of International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies at Manchester University, UK. He is also an International Professor in the School of International Studies, Kyung Hee University, Korea. His publications include Liberal Peace Transitions (with Jason Franks, Edinburgh University Press, 2009), Peace in IR (Routledge, 2008), The Transformation of Peace (Palgrave, 2005/7), Maintaining Order, Making Peace (Palgrave, 2002), and Mediating in Cyprus (Frank Cass, 1998). He is the editor of the Palgrave book series Rethinking Peace and Conflict Studies.

Jonathan M. Acuff received his PhD from the University of Washington in 2008. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Francis Marion University. His research interests include IR theory, security studies, state formation, and culture and identity. Acuff's work has appeared in the International Studies Encyclopedia, Totalitarian Movements and Political Religions, and most recently in Yahya R. Kamalipour (ed.)
