Abstract

Casablanca's Conscience is a philosophical reading of the classic film, Casablanca. Casablanca's Conscience examines the film's key themes and investigates these themes by comparing what the film says to the work of three of the film's contemporaries, Hannah Arendt, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and Albert Camus.
