Abstract
Radiological examination of the heart is one of the most commonly used methods to provide detailed information about cardiac morphology and performance. Although one of the simplest methods, the chest X-ray, often indicates the presence of heart disease, more sophisticated cine-angiocardiographic techniques are necessary to assess atrial and ventricular function quantitatively.
