Editorial Board Disclosure Policy

All editors responsible for recommending or making publication decisions are requested to disclose on an annual basis any potential conflict of interest, including current or recent financial relationships with any commercial entity whose products or services may be contained in the journal content.

The following competing interests were disclosed:

Guillaume Assie – Professor Assie has the following patent application EP17305968.4, 'Method for molecular typing of tumors in a single targeted next generation sequencing experiment'. He has received speaker's fees from Novartis and HRA-Pharma (all fees given to the Centre de Recherche Endocrinienne), and travel expenses from Novartis, HRA-Pharma and Ipsen.

Bjørn Olav Åsvold - Professor Åsvold is a principal investigator for a collaborative research project with Novartis Norge AS where his institution, NTNU, has received 275,000 Euro from Novartis Norge AS for lipoprotein(a) measurements in the HUNT cohort. He is also Chair of the board of the Scandinavian Society for the Study of Diabetes (SSSD) as well as an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Epidemiology

Irina Bancos - Professor Bancos has received grants from HRA Pharma/Esteve and Recordati. Consulting fees were paid to her institution from Recordati, Corcept, HRA Pharma, Xeris, NovoNordisc, AstraZeneca, Camurus, Crinetics, Sparrow, Spruce, Diurnal, Neurocrine and Adaptyx. She has received royalties from Elsevier for writing/editing services. Professor Bancos also received travel support from HRA Pharma for ECE 2024. Fees for participating on a Data Safety Monitoring Board were paid to her institution by Adrenas. She is also listed as a consultant for Nutrix on behalf of the Mayo but receives no consulting fees.

Felix Beuschlein - Professor Beuschlein declares research grants from Swiss National Foundation, Horizon Europe, LOOP Zurich, University Zurich, Swiss Heart Foundation, Uniscientia Foundation and Uniscientia Foundation. He has received support from Pfizer for meeting attendance. Professor Beuschlein declares the patent “Biomarkers for diagnosis and treatment of endocrine hypertension, and methods of identification thereof” (BIO19460). PCT application number : PCT/EP2022/053142.  He has received support from Bayer Pharma for participating on a Data Safety Monitoring Board.

Mirjam Christ-Crain - Professor Christ-Crain declares the following conflicts of interest: speakers fees from Otsuka and kits for Copeptin measurement from Thermofisher AG.

Hedi Claahsen–van der Grinten – Dr Claahsen–van der Grinten is chair of the Radboudumc Expertcentre Sex&Gender. She is on the advisory boards of Spruce Biosciences and Neurocrine Biosciences.

Aoife Maria Egan  - Dr Egan declares a research grant from National Institute of Health (NIH) K23 Award. She received speaking Honoria from American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists Middle East and North Africa and the University of Nebraska. She received ESAP question writing honoraria from the Endocrine Society. Dr Egan received support for attending meetings from American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists Middle East and North Africa.  She is on the Pregnancy and Reproductive Health Leadership Committee for the American Diabetes Association.

Rossella Elisei – Professor Elisei is a consultant for the following companies: EISAI, IPSEN, Lilly, Bayer, Roche and Menarini.

Alessandra Gambineri – Associate Professor Gambineri has received personal consulting fees for Bayer and Aegerion Pharmaceuticals. She is an editorial board member for Journal of Endocrinology Investigation and L’ Endocrinologo.

Luca Giovanella - Professor Giovanella has received consultant and speaker fees and Advisory Board Honoraria from Roche Diagnostics (Germany). He is an Editorial Board Member of Thyroid, European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, American Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and Endocrine.

Mathis Grossmann - Professor Grossmann has received research grants to the university as principal investigator from Bayer, Otsuka and Novartis.

Leonie Heilbronn - Professor Leonie Heilbronn is also an Associate Editor for Obesity. She has no other conflicts to declare. 

Michael O’Reilly - Professor O’Reilly has the following conflicts of interest to declare: he is a Council member for the Society for Endocrinology and has received a research grant from Health Research Board.  He has received support for travel to an international meeting from Pfizer and fees from HRA Pharma and Roche for lectures.

Gérald Raverot - Professor Raverot has received consulting fees from Recordati,  Pfizer and Amolyt. He received speaker fees from Recordati,  Pfizer and Amolyt and support for attending meetings from Recordati,  Pfizer and Amolyt. Professor Raverot is the President of the French Society of Endocrinology.

Nicole Reisch - Professor Reisch declares grants from Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, IFCAH  (International Fund raising for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia) and BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research). She has received consulting fees from Spruce Biosciences, Neurocrine Biosciences, H Lundbeck A/S and Crinetics Pharmaceuticals. Professor Reisch has received support for attending meetings from Recordati Pharma GmbH. She also declared support for participating on Data Safety Monitoring Boards from Spruce Biosciences, Neurocrine Biosciences and  Crinetics Pharmaceuticals. Finally, she is Vice President of the German Society of Endocrinology, Chair of MTG Adrenal and National Coordinator Germany for EndoERN and a medical advisor to the German CAH Patient Support Group.

Markus J Seibel – Professor Seibel has received speaker fees and Advisory Board Honoraria from Amgen Australia. He is on the Publication Committee, ASBMR, and is an Editorial Board member for Calcified Tissue International, Osteology and Clinical Lab.

Alice Sitch – Dr Sitch has a research grant from AstraZeneca. She has received travel and expenses to give a workshop at the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM), and is an Associate Editor for Trials.

Elena Tsourdi - Dr Tsourdi has received consulting fees from Amgen, UCB, Ascendis and Kyowa Kirin.

W E Visser  - The Erasmus Medical Center (Rotterdam, Netherlands), which employs WEV receives royalties from Egetis Therapeutics (the manufacturer of Triac). WEV does not benefit personally from any royalties.
