Abstract
This article takes a look at the available infrastructures in Roman provinces. It first distinguishes the military structures, non-military structures, and civilian structures. It looks at a chronological framework that starts with Pompey's conquest of Judea in 63 bc. It then ends with a description of the situation of the infrastructures in the early fourth century ce. The discussion focuses on the territory that was inhabited by the Jews, specifically the province of Judaea-Palaestina.
