Especially after 2017, Turkish academia was introduced to a new concept known as transnational repression. This concept expresses certain instances of repression that some Turkish institutions and fanatics of the current regime have imposed on people outside Turkey who are described within Turkey as dissidents and traitors. Have you been subjected to these sorts of practices, directly or indirectly, by the state or its supporters in Cyprus?
