Congratulations to Aaron Schneir of USCD for submitting Aconite as the correct poison used in the January 2009 “Lily Robinson and the Art of Secret Poisoning.” His name was randomly drawn from dozens of entries as the winner of a $50.00 gift certificate to the AACC Bookstore!
Clinical Chemistry is pleased to introduce featured podcasts to complement the traditional means of disseminating information and provide a better insight into authors’ work. These podcasts will not only be available to our readers and AACC members, but also to the scientific community at large. The podcasts will include unique and timely interviews with leading scientists and clinicians, article highlights, “Inspiring Minds,” and our latest addition featured in January 2009: the fictional series, “The Art of Secret Poisoning.”
In an effort to assist those who are not comfortable listening to an interview in English or for those who may be hearing impaired, transcripts of the podcasts will be provided. The availability of the podcast along with the transcript will provide a useful educational tool to young scientists whose native language is not English and help them to improve their scientific English.
