Abstract

An evaporable fullerene derivative, indano[60]fullerene ketone, was vacuum-deposited to serve as the electron transport layer in inverted perovskite solar cells. The amorphous nature of the deposited film and the ketone functional group of this fullerene derivative were considered favorable for decreasing the film thickness of the electron transport layer and eliminating the need for a bathocuproine buffer layer.
