Abstract
Adenosine 2′,3′-cyclic phosphate is efficiently cleaved to adenosine by the [Co(triethylenetetramine)(OH)(H2O)]2+ complex at pD 7.0, 20 °C. The cleavage (the rate constant 1.9 × 10−2 min−1) in the presence of the complex (0.05 mol dm−3) is nearly 106 fold faster than the hydrolysis in the absence of the complex.
