Wet torrefaction of Indonesian agricultural waste biomass: product evaluation and analysis of slagging-fouling potential

The slagging-fouling potential of raw agriculture biomass waste and wet torrefaction-treated variants is evaluated through proximate, ultimate, and calorific value analyses to determine the potential of the wet torrefaction process as a pre-treatment in multi-process conversion.

A mathematical model and exergy analysis of an absorption-thermoelectric cooling system powered by a photovoltaic–thermal unit is presented in this work. The photovoltaic module supplies electricity to the thermoelectric cooler, while heat energy fuels the absorption unit.
