Cover: High-resolution microcomputed tomography increases the amount and diversity of information that scientists can extract from natural history collections. This Guinean Shovel-snouted Frog, Hemisus guineensis, was scanned under different preparations to recover its skeleton and soft tissues in high resolution and three dimensions. It is one of over thirteen-thousand museum specimens that were imaged during the openVertebrate (oVert) digitization project led by the Florida Museum of Natural History at the University of Florida, which is described in an article in this issue by David C. Blackburn and colleagues. Specimens from more than 50 US museums were scanned and made available online via the repository MorphoSource, hosted by Duke University. Image: Produced by Edward L. Stanley, University of Florida.
