The cover image shows the morphological diversity of wild radish, Raphanus raphanistrum (left) and Raphanus pugioniformis right), fruits. The internal structures of the dry indehiscence with the seeds in seed chambers encased by the thick pericarp is visualised by X-ray imaging. The variability in pericarp-imposed dormancy provides a bet-hedging strategy to these Brassicaceae weeds. [see Steinbrecher et al., pp. 977–989.]
