About
Vision
The Annals of the Entomological Society of America will become a valuable source of knowledge and wisdom for all scientists working on research, extension, teaching, policy, and public outreach concerning insects and related arthropods. The emphasis of the Annals of the ESA will be on preparing scientists for the future.
Mission
The Annals of the ESA actively acquires and publishes typical research articles, reviews, collections, editorials, and essays that provide valuable content, challenge commonly held beliefs, and lead readers into the future. The Annals of the ESA starts conversations. The dynamic nature of science means that there are always questions and uncertainty in research, policy, teaching, extension and public outreach. The Annals of the ESA strives to provide a forum that leads and helps colleagues deal with these questions and uncertainty. The journal as a whole must be of interest and value to all entomologists. We want every entomologist to consider the Annals of the ESA as the source of interesting articles, editorials, and essays.
