Abstract
Nutritionists are using numerous pure chemicals and purified substances in studying the nutrition of vertebrates. Additional nutrilites have been discovered by micro-biologists. It was believed that black carpet beetle larvae could be fed most of the substances which have been used in studying the nutrition of other organisms.
