Abstract
This chapter has four sections: 1. General and Poetry; 2. Restoration Drama Excluding Dryden; 3. Dryden; 4. Prose. Section 1 is by William Baker, with Emily Stelzer covering Marvell, Herrick, and Crashaw; sections 2 and 3 are by Jennifer Airey; section 4 is by William Baker on Hobbes, William Baker and Catherine Gimelli Martin on Locke, David Parry on Bunyan, and Emily Stelzer on Pepys. There is no ‘Miscellaneous’ section this year.
