Displacement waveforms of the Love (two upper traces) and Rayleigh (three lower traces) waves at three surface points subjectto SH-wave incidence propagating in the positive direction of the x-axis in the model shown in Fig.16. The time histories are convolved with a Ricker wavelet having a centre frequency of 0.2Hz. The location of the surface points is as follows: (a) (x, y)=(− 3.5, 0), (b) (− 3.5, 1) and(c) (− 3.5, 2)km.
