Similarly to the previous figure, this figure shows the tangential velocity distribution for the thin disc, thick disc and halo WDs in the mock catalogue. The curve for each component has been normalized; hence, the relative height does not carry any information. The distributions of the disc WDs and the halo WDs significantly differ at the large velocity end.
