Fraction of galaxies in MBII and Illustris at z = 0.06 for different thresholds of the bulge-to-total ratio: BTR < 0.7, 0.75 and 0.8. Our adopted threshold for the rest of this work is that galaxies with BTR < 0.7 are classified as disc galaxies.
