The make-up of the node is as shown in Figures 8 and 10. In this foetus, however, not only are then extensive nodoventricular connections, as shown in Figure 10, but also fasciculo-ventricular connections (E). At the transition from the node to the penetrating bundle, it is also possible to recognize the feature known as foetal dispersion (D).
