Saline (a,b), 250 µg Synacthen (c,d), or 1mg dexamethasone (e,f) were administered by 11:02 hours. Sampling commenced at 10:00 for serum, and at 09:55 for SC & IV with ten minutely samples being collected up to 15:00. Lunch was served at 12:00.
