Radio continuum mosaic of Puppis A at 1415 MHz obtained with the VLA (Dubner et al. 1991). The angular resolution is 77 × 43 arcsec². The grey-scale is in Jy beam⁻¹. The inner frame shows the area covered by the present survey. The plus sign indicates the position of RX J0822–4300, while the cross shows the optical expansion centre computed by Winkler et al. (1988).
