The results of spectral simulations where we determine the distorting influence on the inner disc inclination that would result from not including the effect of emission lines associated with photoionized plasma (with logξ = 3.7; Lohfink et al. 2012). As before, the simulations are based on an input model from the XMM–Newton/NuSTAR study of NGC 1365 by Walton et al. (2014). We test for three inclinations at 30° (bottom), 50° (middle) and 70° (top) across a range in normalization and for three black hole spins: a* = 0 (top left), 0.5 (top right) and 0.98 (bottom) with the results appropriately smoothed before plotting.
