The anomalous induction signal ΔB at satellite altitude h= 300 km above a 3-D model Earth consisting of a three-layer mantle overlain by the near-surface conductance map. A harmonic ring-current excitation of period T= 2 h is applied. The diagrams are shown for various values of lithospheric upper-mantle electrical conductivity.
