aSynovial metaplasia was significantly more frequent in uncontracted capsules than in contracted capsules. Histological findings were semiquantitatively graded on a scale: grade 1 signifies mild or absent findings; grade 2 represents a moderate level of findings; and grade 3 indicates intense findings. Collagen band alignment was denoted as “P” for parallel alignment and “M” for multidirectional alignment. The presence of synovial metaplasia is indicated as “Yes,” while its absence is indicated as “No.”
