Values of N_side for foreground parameter variations in three different 20% large regions of the sky. The N_side values are chosen to capture most of the spatial variability of the spectral indices and to keep the resulting foreground bias under control while not increasing the statistical uncertainty. The angular resolution for β_d is kept to the maximum allowed (N_side = 64), since LiteBIRD turns out to be particularly sensitive to this parameter.
