Normalized mean expansion speed of ridges a to f detected by ridge_crawler averaged across four sets of images generated by the geometric model. Measured speeds were normalized against the wind speed of 80 mas yr⁻¹ (the mean expansion speed across all ridges between the 2016 and 2018 VISIR epochs) that was injected into the model. Uncertainties were estimated using the standard error of the mean.
