I reside in the metro Denver area, and I have struggled with mental illness for many years. Painting helps me to
manage it. My motto is “Out of the deep, dark depths of despair, beauty can emerge”. I have served on several
mental health boards in order to decrease stigma and to advance care. I enjoy painting.
