This special issue of the journal Radiation Protection Dosimetry is dedicated to the Proceedings of the joint International Conference on Individual Monitoring of Ionizing Radiation IM2022 and Neutron and Ion Dosimetry Symposium NEUDOS-14, held in Kraków, Poland between 25 April and 29 April 2022. The conference joined two conferences that have been previously cancelled due to the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic. The conference was organised by the Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS). The conference venue was Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University.
The International Conference on Individual Monitoring of Ionizing Radiation IM2022 was the sixth of the series of conferences dealing with individual monitoring. The conference has its origin in Europe but always noted significant contributions from outside Europe and is organised every 5 years. The last International Conference on Individual Monitoring of Ionising Radiation was held in 2015 in Bruges, Belgium.
