This is a correction to: Hanhui Wang, Yanan Lu, Tianxu Zhang, Zhi Liu, Li Cao, Qiaoying Chang, Yueying Liu, Xin Lu, Song Yu, Huiyu Li, Jing Jiang, Guifeng Liu, Heike W Sederoff, Ronald R Sederoff, Qingzhu Zhang, Zhimin Zheng, The double flower variant of yellowhorn is due to a LINE1 transposon-mediated insertion, Plant Physiology, Volume 191, Issue 2, February 2023, Pages 1122–1137, https://doi.org/10.1093/plphys/kiac571
In the originally published version of this manuscript, there errors in the full name of abbreviation BSA. In the Abstract, first paragraph, third sentence should read: “We found a candidate C-class gene, AGAMOUS1 (XsAG1), through bulked segregation analysis sequencing […]” instead of: “We found a candidate C-class gene, AGAMOUS1 (XsAG1), through bovine serum albumin sequencing […]”. On p. 1124, column a subheading should read: “Bulked segregation analysis sequencing locates a candidate gene associated with the double flower phenotype” instead of: “Bovine serum albumin sequencing locates a candidate gene associated with the double flower phenotype”; and beneath that subheading, first sentence should read: “DNA from natural populations of single- or double-flowered trees was bulked for bulked segregation analysis (BSA) sequencing “ instead of: “DNA from natural populations of single- or double-flowered trees was bulked for bovine serum albumin (BSA) sequencing”.
There was also an error in the legend to Figure 3. The last part of the third sentence should read: “[…] green boxes represent Xsag1-LINE1-1 insertion, and lines represent introns.” Instead of: […] orange boxes represent Xsag1-LINE1-1 insertion, and lines represent introns.”
These emendation have been made in the article.
