Abstract
Cytochromes in a cultured cells of the mycobiont of Cladonia vulcani Sav. were studied, b-and c-type cytochromes and aa3-type cytochrome c oxidase were found in the membrane fraction, while b- and c-type cytochromes were found in the soluble fraction. Soluble cytochrome c-549.5 was purified, and some of its molecular properties were determined.
