ANDREW AZIZ is Associate Professor of Music Theory at San Diego University. He has published articles and reviews on formal and harmonic topics in Journal of Music Theory Pedagogy-Online, Music Analysis, Music Theory and Analysis, Music Theory Online, Music Theory Spectrum, and Sonus. Additionally, he serves as Vice-President of the West Coast Conference for Music Theory and Analysis, and co-edited, with Jack Boss, the collection Musical Waves: West Coast Perspectives of Pitch, Narrative, and Form (Cambridge Scholars, 2020).

DAMIAN BLÄTTLER is Assistant Professor of Music Theory at Rice University. His research interests include the music of Maurice Ravel, tonal music after the common practice, theories of hypermeter and phrase rhythm, and the music of Louis Andriessen.

JONATHAN DE SOUZA is Associate Professor in the Don Wright Faculty of Music at the University of Western Ontario. He is the author of Music at Hand: Instruments, Bodies, and Cognition (Oxford University Press, 2017), which received the Society for Music Theory’s Emerging Scholar (Book) Award in 2020.
