CHRISTOPHER BRODY is Assistant Professor of Music Theory at the University of Louisville. He holds a Ph.D. from Yale University as well as a DMA from the University of Minnesota, and has previously served on the faculties of Indiana University and the Eastman School of Music. In 2019, he was the winner of the Society for Music Theory’s Emerging Scholar Award for his article “Parametric Interaction in Tonal Repertoires” (Journal of Music Theory, 2016).

BEN DUINKER holds a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship for research in music analysis and performance at the University of Toronto. His dissertation, which focuses on metric and rhythmic aspects of hip-hop flow, was awarded an SMT-40 dissertation fellowship by the Society for Music Theory. He has articles published and forthcoming in Current Musicology, Empirical Musicology Review, Music Theory Online, Popular Music, and the Journal for Popular Music Studies. Duinker received a Ph.D. in Music Theory and a Master of Music Performance (percussion) from McGill University.
